At Urban Fire, we believe great pizza starts with doing the simple things exceptionally well.
From carefully selected ingredients to properly fermented dough, every decision is made with quality in mind. We take pride in hand-stretching each pizza, cooking it in our wood fired oven and serving food that we would be proud to share with family and friends.
We are constantly learning, refining and improving, but our goal remains the same — to create great pizza and a great experience for every customer who visits us.

Urban Fire began with a simple idea shared with Sean and Anna O'Malley in 2020. Plans were taking shape when COVID struck, forcing everything to be put on hold.
While the pandemic delayed our launch, it also gave us an opportunity. We used the time to research, learn and develop our understanding of dough fermentation, ingredients, wood fired ovens and what it takes to create exceptional pizza.
When restrictions eased, we turned that knowledge into reality and launched Urban Fire in Oranmore. Since then, our focus has remained unchanged — fresh dough, quality ingredients and authentic wood fired pizza served with pride.
What started as an idea has grown into a business that we are incredibly proud of, and we are excited for what comes next.
how did we do?
At Urban Fire, we believe great pizza starts long before it reaches the oven.
Our dough is made using Caputo 00 flour and slowly fermented for between 48 and 72 hours. This longer fermentation develops flavour, improves texture and helps create the light, airy crust that our pizzas are known for.
We use a blend of premium San Marzano DOP tomatoes for our sauce, combined with carefully selected ingredients that we believe deliver the very best flavour.
Our pizzas are cooked in a traditional wood fired oven at temperatures approaching 500°C, creating the distinctive crust, texture and flavour that only a wood fired oven can produce.
We are proud to work with some of Ireland's finest producers and suppliers, including:
• Toons Bridge Dairy, Cork
• Sabanero, Galway
• Brady Family, Athenry, Co. Galway
• Gubbeen Farmhouse Products, Cork
We use 24-month aged Parmigiano Reggiano, premium extra virgin olive oil, house-made pesto and our own candied jalapeños to ensure every pizza is packed with flavour.
Every ingredient is chosen for a reason. From the flour and tomatoes to the cheese and toppings, our focus is simple — quality ingredients, carefully prepared, to create great pizza.

yes, we offer gluten-free pizza bases on request. However, they are prepared in the same kitchen and cooked in the same oven as our regular pizzas, so we cannot guarantee the absence of cross-contamination.
